In late 2018, we transitioned our warehouse to a full vertical grow, vertical air, LED-lit facility (the first in New Mexico) because it ultimately leads to the highest quality finished products; we haven’t looked back! With these changes, Urban has complete environmental control in our grow facility, assuring the safest, cleanest product, free of contaminants and exceeding the standards of all state-mandated quality assurance tests. Going Vertical
Managing a grow facility while maximizing yields--- and retaining top shelf quality --- is extremely difficult. By transitioning to vertical farming, we maximize canopy space, increasing quality from practices before. Racks are easily moved and adjusted, increasing efficiency and creating a more streamlined workflow in our facility.
LED Lighting
In addition to transitioning to a vertical farming system, Urban is converting to industry leading LED lights and a vertical air system. This change allows for hyper-uniformity--- our harvests are consistently testing high in THC and unprecedented terpene levels. LEDs allow use of different spectrums of light, enabling us to provide the perfect environment unique to each plant.
